Gruesome ... Not Really
A long while back, while looking out our office building window, I noticed a pigeon had died and it's little body lay on the roof. I remember because, whenever I see a dead bird, I'm always reminded of the scripture, "Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they?" (Matthew 6:26). I recently looked out that window again and saw the tiny skeleton of that bird, but out of what appears to be it's stomach, a plant had gown. Wow! It looks like the seeds it had eaten germinated and found a way to grow. In death, the little bird gave life. I was then led to begin singing, "The circle of life ..."
