Alligator
I had to make a quick trip to Spanish Fort today and decided to take the causeway on my way back. I figured a quick stop would get me a POD, but hadn't figured on this little fella. I had taken a few pictures at a boat launch and decided to get a closer look at the floating log only to realize it was an alligator. He wasn't too big, I'm figuring about 4-5 foot, but he didn't flinch as I edged closer. Once again, I found myself with only my short (50mm) lens, wishing I had packed my old zoom lens. Oh well.
