I couldn't find any birds. I think the spring migration has ended.
I had to go to Mobile today for an interview with a placement agency. Afterwards, Dave and I ran some errands. Dave is always so good to me, taking indirect routes so I can find something to photograph and never complaining. We went along the causeway where I spent several minutes in the hot, humid sun chasing dragonflies. They're just too darn fast when it's warm.
Today was the last full day of our vacation, so I hit the marsh behind the condo and then headed to the beach to catch our final sunset.
I went back to the cotton fields on a mission to find a green lynx spider. Seems that every time I go, I unexpectedly find a spider of some type. But today, no matter how hard I looked, no spider could be found. As I began to leave, I saw what appeared to be a white little feather floating around. Turns out it was this dragon-fly looking creature--pink, white, and black--about a half inch long. It's not a spider, but it is an unexpected find.
I couldn't find any birds. I think the spring migration has ended.
