It's not the best picture, but I know that these rolls of hay will be picked up tomorrow--a farmer's work is never done.

A little more crimson clover--throw in some cows and we're "happy happy happy."
The soybeans are shedding their leaves and will soon be ready for harvest.
I waited all season for the peanuts to be turned, but didn't make it to the field before they were picked up. I snapped this small unpicked patch on the way into work this morning. It's always so hard to photograph using backlighting, but I hope this gives you a glimpse into peanut picking in South Alabama.

Texture by Kim Klassen.
Sometimes you just stumble upon a picture worth keeping. I've been trying to leave the house a little earlier to catch the morning light, but I haven't done a very good job. By the time I got to this spot this morning the orange sunrise had become white. The colors weren't nearly as vibrant as shown here, but I changed the white balance to shade, kicked up the saturation, and added a Kim Klassen texture and, Voila! I now have a photo I wouldn't mind framing.
I always think this is wheat, but they bale it like hay. So I don't know.
