My mom turned 70 today. Can you believe I didn't even take one picture of her? I guess I was too distracted making jambalaya, chasing my wild great nieces and nephew, and laughing and playing games with my sister and nieces. Not every memory is captured in an image; sometimes the memory simply finds a place in your heart.

I had forgotten how beautiful sunsets were over Weeks Bay.
I forgot my camera at home and ended up going to Baldwin County with Dave and Matt after work, so I had to use my cell phone for this pic. I visited with my mom and niece while they cut her grass, we went out to eat, and then took our HD TV to my brother's home on the other side of the county. The TV is 5 years old (which is the average life for an HD TV). It went out 2 weeks ago. We paid a repairman to come to the house to repair it, but he said he couldn't. We bought a $1.79 part, took it to my brother, and he repaired it within 40 minutes. He's fabulous.
