Snowy-Evening Primrose Today was an absolutely awful day. From the moment I walked into my office, I wanted to turn around and go home. That rarely happens. After 23 years, I can count on one hand the number of times that I've had such a bad day. In order to clear my head and get a better perspective, I took a breather during the middle of the day to soak up a little sun, breathe in a little coastal air, and watch the pelicans and seagulls on the causeway. It was a nice respit and cleared my mind enough to push through the rest of the day. "O Lord, my strength and my fortress, my refuge in time of distress." (Jeremiah 16:19)
