The rain had just stopped.
Aren't these wild roses just beautiful. I'd never seen this bush, but found it just across the road from the ones I showed you yesterday.
And then I found this second bush. The roses were just a little lighter in color.
More wild roses. I call these tea roses because they're so small.
A few more wild roses.
No, I didn't receive roses on this Mother's Day (these are just a few wild ones found on the roadside), but I did receive something better--my child came home for a few days. Who needs roses when you can get a sweet card, dinner out, and great big hug. I hope your day was just as special.
I got to these wild roses a little too late. They were already fading.
A few more wild roses.
Did you notice the green anole? I didn't even see it until I started processing the pictures. I wish I could have gotten closer, but it was so overgrown, I was afraid to wade too deep into the weeds for fear I might find some other reptile.
The rain had just stopped.
