I'm so numb with all that is going on in our community and in the lives of my family and friends that I found myself at a loss for words during my prayers. I don't ever remember that happening. I don't know what to pray. I simply want to sit in silence. The sunset this evening reminded me that the sun always shines, ALWAYS. Like God, it remains a constant even when clouds block out the light. Now I'm praying to see brighter more joyous days ahead. "I am benumbed and badly crushed; I groan because of the agitation of my heart. Lord, all my desire is before You; And my sighing is not hidden from You." ~Psalm 38:8-9

Mobile and Baldwin Counties have been separated by a cold front for a few days. Mobile County, on the western side of the bay, ran temperatures in the 40s and 50s, while Baldwin County, on the eastern side of the bay, ran temps in the 70s. The front created a misty, rainy fog along the Delta, perfect for a moody picture.
