Dog-gone-it! It was raining hard when I left for work this morning. Since I had a casserole and two pies to carry for our Christmas party, I decided to leave my camera at home. That was a big mistake. When I returned home, there was a low hanging fog in all the fields. When the sun dropped below the clouds, the sky lit up in the most glorious colors. The clouds became a pink blood red with golden yellow pulsing throughout. It was awesomely beautiful, but I had no camera in hand--with the exception of my cell phone, which doesn't do it justice. It doesn't show the real beauty God created this evening. So, thank you, God, for revealing your beauty to me, and dog-gone-it for me not capturing it to share with others.
Fog surrounding the USS Alabama.
Mobile and Baldwin Counties have been separated by a cold front for a few days. Mobile County, on the western side of the bay, ran temperatures in the 40s and 50s, while Baldwin County, on the eastern side of the bay, ran temps in the 70s. The front created a misty, rainy fog along the Delta, perfect for a moody picture.
