Well, the freezing cold has disappeared, leaving us in another fog.

Mobile Bay wasn't quite as calm as it was last week, but it's always a great place to watch the sunset.

So, as I made it into downtown Mobile, I realized that not only were the streets covered in ice, but so were the sidewalks! It was rather precarious walking the one block to my office. In fact, the entire sidewalk was ice. Sheesh! How does a middle-aged fat woman navigate icy sidewalks? Very, very carefully, being sure to plant her feet as firmly as possible before taking the next step.
